Student Linkup aims to connect students with local churches. An interactive map allows you to search for nearby churches, and to contact them directly.



Ethos Education publishes free resources for teachers to help students explore spiritual, moral, social and cultural issues through contemporary media. Find sixth form tutor ideas, A level RE lessons and sixth form conference.


UCCF: the Christian Unions offers support to Christians starting universities and has lots of information for Christian Unions based at universities.

Festive (FE and Sixth Form Initiative) has great ideas for starting a Christian Union in Y13, college or university, many of which could also be applied in a school context.

Dare2engage is a network of teachers and practitioners in 16-19 education who share a common aim to develop new and innovative resources for RE and spiritual development. Take a look at their excellent resources available to hire or buy, including ‘Rage, Despair and Hope’ and the new ‘Open’ box.

Schoolswork UK has has a selection of resources for 16-19 year olds including topics such as Intimacy, Rage and Physical Beauty.

They have also produced Breathe, a resource for the spiritual development of 16-19 year olds encouraging them to explore and discover themes of belief, journeys and values through a series of interactive, experiential meditations and activities.



Table Talk is a pack of cards for starting conversations. This pack designed for 16-18 year olds covers many relevant topics and should provoke some interesting discussions.

The Mix's aim is to "take on the embarrassing problems, weird questions, and please-don’t-make-me-say-it-out-loud thoughts that people under 25 have in order to give them the best support through our digital and phone services." Lots of information about selfharm, sex, relationships, drugs, housing, study and jobs.


The Romance Academy produces a set of playing cards designed for 14-19 year olds to start talking about the "emotional, physical and social challenges of growing up." Each of the 4 suits has a topic: Values, Choices, Dilemmas, and Sexual Health. The cards are £8.50 from the Youthscape online store.
