Residentials can be a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop confidence, friendships and their faith, and give them experiences they will always remember.

The Leavers Coulson Trust has been making it possible for disadvantaged children and young people to attend Christian residentials for nearly 40 years. Applying is simple - an online application form invites you to introduce your Christian youth group and the residential activity and give a few details about the individual (7-19 years) and their financial and social needs. Trustees aim to answer within a week or two.

You've heard of glamping, but what about champing?! An initiative from The Churches Conservation Trust to open up a selection of twelve beautiful ancient churches for people to stay overnight in. You get the church all to yourselves and they can even provide beds and breakfast if required. See the website for all the information.

Cliff College run an annual 'Cliff Festival' at the College site with something for all ages. It runs over a 4-day weekend each May.



Greenbelt is a festival of 'arts, faith and justice' and takes place from 25-28 August at Broughton House near Kettering.



Min-y-Don is a residential Christian outdoor activity centre in a picturesque part of North Wales. School groups (and families) are welcome to try out a wide range of activities including Bushcraft, Canoeing, Orienteering, Archery and Treasure hunts.


The Oakes is a Christian activity centre in Norton, Sheffield. They run over 40 residential camps a year for children aged 8-18 with a wide range of fun activities and time set aside to explore the Christian faith.


Scripture Union run a wide range of camps and residentials. Their holidays all share the values of 'fun, friendship and faith exploration.' Search on their website to find a camp near you.


Soul Survivor run 4 camps every Summer, each lasting 5 days. These are for teenagers and include worship, seminars, film screenings, fun games and activities.
